All the Feelings

Hi there!

I’m finally making a real, honest-to-goodness blog post.

How does it feel?

Actually, it’s a mix of emotions. I find it scary to put myself out there. My fear has been stronger than the knowledge that I should be blogging. It’s held me back from yelling from the hills “Hey! I’m a professional photographer! I’m really, really good at what I do! You should hire me!”

One thing that has happened as a result of being sidelined by the covid lockdown is that I’m feeling more on the sidelines than ever.

And you know what? It sucks. I don’t want to be on the sidelines. I want to be out there shooting, collaborating, getting into creative flow with as many of you as possible.

I miss photography so badly. I miss it more than I am fearful of what people might say. I miss it more than I feel held back by perfectionism (That’s another topic for another blog post).

So, I’m putting on my big Trina pants and my super Trina cape. I’m going to take the time to write at least once a month.

What can you expect in the future?

Most definitely posts about my fabulous work with my extra fab clients, creative shoots I’ve done, musings about the creative process,  and once in a while I’ll sneak in some of this mushy vulnerable stuff.

Thanks for reading,

Trina
